That's not right at all. It's so many people that had similar offenses and didn't get time at all, some got light sentences. Yes a life was lost and dues got to be paid, but this due is extremely high. The family forgave him, why not this system do the same.

It is a huge loss to the community with having Rashed taken from family and friends. Only the negitive is being looked at. Not even him showing his consious is awarded which is someone acting above God on their own behalf is illegal. Im not quite sure where the over a life sentenced is allowed to be held. We love Rashed and all the positive impacts he has had on his daughter , family, and community. Not 1 person not even the wife of the uninteninal accident has such discouragement held against. WE love you Rashed. That is never going to be your home11

He's a great guy, great friend, and family man. People make mistakes and I've seen people do worse and only got probation. 100+ years is excessive and this judgment Should be modified to something more feasible.

The ruling was too extreme and should be reduced.

Rasheed is a ver kind heart, sweet, family man who would never intentionally hurt any human being and does NOT deserve this sentencing.

Rasheed is a good guy who does not deserve the sentence he got. He is only 31 people make mistakes in his case he made a big one. Im sure he didn't mean for the things to happen that happened. But that man lived a long life 100 plus yrs is not fare. He has a daughter who needs him this is not justice its more like a racial thing to me Free Rasheed Brown

Right is right and wrong is wrong. One hundred years is downright insane, outrageous and steep as hell taking there are murderers out here who show no remorse indicating they will kill again. Clearly this was an accident. Lessen the sentence!!! One hundred years is insane!

This is truly sad and heartbreaking to both families. My heart goes out to all who is involved. This sentence is definitely steep, harsh, and outrageous.

I have scene people who committed heinous crimes receive far less in terms of sentencing. I feel very bad for the victim of this accident , but a sentence of 150 years does not bring the deceased back and seems patently absurd.
