As well as being the heart and soul of EWP, Fiona is an incredibly experienced and effective director. During her tenure at EWP she has increased attendances, revitalised the preschool financially, supported her staff (the low staff turnover numbers are unheard of in the industry), provided support to parents in need, and most importantly provided a happy, vibrant, nurturing and supportive environment for our children. In 2 years at EWP I have never heard a bad word spoken about Fiona’s directorship.
I am shocked and appalled by this decision by the Board, and their apparent disregard for the views of EWPs most important assets (the teachers, students and parents of EWP). I am also unimpressed by the Board’s inability to communicate clearly and openly about what on earth has gone on in their Boardroom.
The Board is running a community preschool, not their own personal business. This isn’t how things are done

Not having Fiona as director of EWP would be a truly devastating loss. She has shaped the school to be as wonderful and as special as it is now. The very soul of EWP will cease to exist without her presence. As a parent of a current student at the school, it is sincerely in your best interest to reconsider this awful decision.

Fiona Ozana’s leadership, skills, vision and drive is integral to why EWP is the thriving much loved preschool we know it to be. To remove her at all makes no sense, to try to remove her in this way is total breach of trust. There has been no consultation with staff or parents of any kind so this move by the Board demonstrates they have their own agenda which they have not owned up to. Their attempt to restructure should not go ahead.

I think Fiona has been doing and incredible job and has made the preschool the fabulous preschool that is it!! She has been so helpful and approachable, I truely believe she is an asset to the school!

100% against the boards decision to replace Fiona!! She’s the heart and soul of the school, whom we respect and appreciate daily.
