I CURRENTLY OWN 8 TEAM ACTIVE BASKETBALL TEAMS, 1 STEP TEAM, 1 CHEER LEADING SQUAD, SOCCER TEAM IN THE MAKING AND POSSIBLE FOOTBALL TEAMS (TACKLE AND FLAG). I WOULD LIKE TO HELP BUILD THE BRONX. THE AREA I AM INTERESTED IN REBUILDING DUE TO THE MAJORITY OF MY PLAYERS LIVING THERE IS HUNTS POINT. I HAVE BEEN A CO- LOCATOR AT GRAHAM WINDHAM FOR 2 YEARS, I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR GRAHAM WINDHAM FOR 3 YEARS. I BROUGHT THE HEAVYHITTERS BASKETBALL TEAM TO HUNTS POINT, FROM THERE I BEGAN TO BUILD. NOW I HAVE OVER 100 PLAYERS FROM ALL OVER THE BRONX, MANHATTAN.. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND A VACANT SPACE (LAND) IN HUNTS POINT OF THE BRONX. I WOULD LIKE TO TURN IT INTO AN ACTIVE GYM, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM, FITNESS, COMPUTER LEARNING AND MANY MORE ACTIVITIES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CREATE A SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS AND SINGLE PARENTS WHO NEED ASSISTANCE WITH FOOD, CLOTHING AND SHELTER.THIS IS JUST A SMALL SYNOPSIS OF WHAT MY DREAMS ARE OF HELPING THE BRONX.

Discussions are underway regarding potential sites in Hunts Point that could serve our community programs. I am currently evaluating the resources required to transform these vacant spaces into functional centers for our youth and families.

The momentum surrounding our goal for the Hunts Point community is truly encouraging. This growing interest demonstrates that many others envision the same potential for a dedicated space for our youth and families.

Barbie had done so much for the 14/15u and because of her we have the best record in Bxhh history
I feel that this program will keep us youth off the streets and on the right track also I want everyone to have a good relationship with eachother so nobody won't feel left out. I really love this program the coach is nice and she makes sure everyone is happy
I feel this gym would help bring kids in the community off the street and help bring friendships and more importantly yours goals to be fulfilled.
Barbie pope I hope your dreams comes true for you. I also hope and pray kids that wants to participate help you with this positive movement
I'm all for HHNS. Every child dp deserves a chance. Here's the opportunity where every individual can improve their skills not only in basketball but educational as well. You all have potential and are willing to go for it into bringing the Heavyhitters Nation Sports to success.

I feel like granting Barbie this space can help so many more kids stay off the streets and do something productive with their time.
