My friend Jamie uses these facilities every week without fail. It honestly would be a travesty to take this away from him and everyone else that enjoys using this space. It also helps counter obesity.

This is a great pitch and location for myself and many to use on Monday night, to enjoy playing football , getting some exercise and meeting new people. It is something that over 200 of us in the league look forward to each week and it would be devastating for all of us if this was to be stopped. Please overturn this and think about all of us who see this is a highlight of our week.

The regular usage of the football pitch has given me not only an opportunity to have regular exercise once a week, but also something to look forward to on an always dull Monday and a chance to meet new people hence our team name, ’Strangers United’. Therefore, it would be a great shame to see the recreational usage of the pitch be discontinued.

Do not close this down! this has no effect on residents, noise and lighting is very minimal, you will be letting down the huge majority of the public who uses this venue for health and fitness purposes

This is a great facility to support people with living a health and positive lifestyle. To stop this facility been used to its current capacity makes no sense at a time when people are becoming more unhealthy and recreational centres are closing

We must keep recreational areas open in cities. Exercise is vital.
