The transit authority just confirmed that the evening bus service to Watton will be restored for all requested times. Your 112 signatures forced them to acknowledge that this route is essential. Keep checking the updated timetables and contact your local council if these buses do not arrive on time.
We need evening buses back to Watton from Dereham and Norwich, so that people can get home from work /education courses, and also from social events. I suggest 7.30pm, 9.30pm & 10.30pm on Monday to Saturday evenings.
I am currently compiling a report of the feedback you have left about missed shifts and school classes to send directly to the regional transport board. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook page today so we keep this issue in front of the local council. Call your local representative and tell them that evening transport is a basic necessity for our town.

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and shows just how many of us are stranded without evening transport. Send an email to your local transport council members today to demand these extra bus slots. Tell them exactly how these service gaps affect your ability to get home from work or school.

It could make a very big difference to the watton community to have bus facilities in the evenings ,for shopping, cinema ,visiting friends ,and maybe a chance of visiting folk who are in hospital

Definitely a need for a late bus service. Ridiculous that in this day and age when we are being urged by the government and every environmental agency going to use public transport that everything stops early from Watton thus affecting the surrounding areas also.

Would be great to have later buses from Norwich to Watton. Social and work life is limited as there is no way to get back to Watton after 7.10pm without getting a taxi or staying in hotels etc.
Thank you!

Sometimes my daughter works until 8pm (9pm Major holidays) and she can not get home to Griston after 7.17pm from Norwich. I have ill health and have to sometimes drive to Dereham in pain to pick her up.

This would really help myself and lots of other young people who are unemployed to be able to widen their job searches as when I was looking for a job transport was my main issue as I could afford a car and the busses all stopped really early.

Would be a real asset to Watton community. Opening up more social life for the young and elderly who don’t have their own transport.
