I have been hearing from so many of you about how uncomfortable these mandatory uniforms make you feel in your own classrooms. My inbox is full of stories about why our clothes matter for our identity and I am currently working on a formal letter to present to the administration.

Seeing this much momentum from fellow students proves that I am not the only one feeling stifled by these new rules. It reminds me that my frustration is shared by so many of my peers who just want to be themselves in the hallways.

my parents cant afford to buy all new clothes just for the school year. this is a huge burden for a lot of families at evans.
Ridiculous. We are there to learn not to model polos. My grades dont change just cause I have a collar on.

LET US WEAR OUR OWN CLOTHES!!!!! School is already boring enough as it is.
