Elmwood/Bbidwell is the heart of the Elmwood village historical area. The proposed buildings are anonymous in design, and do not in any way reflect the style of EV. Bflo has done enough damage through destruction to our unique architectural heritage.

. This proposal is not in compliance with the Elmwood Village section of the Green Code, which has a height limit of 3 stories, prohibits demolition without an approved plan, and prevents the combination of more than 2 properties for the purpose of building a new structure.

Ciminelli is missing the point....new things can be made to look vintage!

The area is great as it is. Why ruin it? Build somewhere else!!!

I am in full agreement of the letter and spirit of the petition.

An awful plan that would the destroy the historical quaintness of our community. I'm totally against the demolition of our older buildings!

We already have that awful building on Elmwood and W. Delavan that is completely out of character for our neighborhood. The new construction would be even worse. Please reconsider what can be done to encourage investment but not destroy the fabric and feel of an entire neighborhood. Responsible growth!

The Green Code should prevail (before demolitions!) and no variances should be granted which would weaken it's authority. It is the character of our neighborhood which earned it recognition as one of the top 10 places to live. We can't let that character be destroyed.

ITS THE GREEDY DEVELOPERS WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT

Density is a Developer's dictum, it does not improve the quality of life for the people who find themselves scrambling to cope with the density problems that ensue.

We are asking for this project to be delayed until the needs of the community are met.

Enough with making the village look sterile. If you want to update property work on main street, the EAST side could use some help, so could NIAGARA Street.

And the same thing goes for the proposed Chason Affinity project on Elmwood and Forest.

Let's end the destruction of Elmwood Village. These developers do not care about the character of Elmwood Village, it is about making money for themselves.

The proposed structure is just one more step in the destruction of the Elmwood Village, and its replacement with oversized, overpriced, cookie-cutter structures. The end of this feeding frenzy will be another transient neighborhood with vacant commercial storefronts. Eating up residential areas with compatible businesses to cater to a handful of developers is simply selling out our homeowner neighborhood so a precious few can make a fast buck. If the Green Code has value, don't let a midnight demolition make our Elmwood Village moot.

The village needs to be preserved! Please.

This is a pedestrian friendly area and needs to remain this way for the integrity of the neighborhood. A big real estate developer who wants to destruct buildings instead of repurposing unique vintage spaces is not what EV needs. There is plenty of space in other areas of the city for projects such as these. KEEP ELMWOOD VILLAGE QUAINT. Stop his money grubbing corporate BS.

Getting it done right to maintain the character of the neighborhood is more important than Ciminelli getting it done quickly. Have them comply with the Green Code.

I grew up on Elmwood Avenue between Bird and Potomac. I love this neighborhood. We need to keep areas like this to preserve our architecture and charm. Everything can not be new and then quickly look dated.
