I have spent 17 years directing the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts. The goal was to build a stronger community socially and economically. A project like this is anathema to such goals.

I have attended the community meetings & believe the proposal DOES NOT fit with existing architectural or size of community. Vote NO

The character of Elmwood Village has been compromised already by poorly designed structures that are eyesores and add nothing to the area. Profit for a few because they are greedy should not be the deciding factor. The Elmwood Village integrity needs to be protected and maintained. The proposal is horrid.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 39 years. I moved there because of the quaint historic architecture. This is not what I had in mind.

Leave the buildings alone! The charm of Elmwood village are the mom and pop stores in these buildings. There is so much history and should not be destroyed.

The consistent enforcement of rules on building-height makes ALL the difference - look at Washington DC if you need an example.

Big Developers should not dictate city planning in the Elmwood Village. Height and scale and location is wrong for this location.

I have no problem with development in our district. The overpowering scale does not represent the nature of the neighborhood. I do believe that the plans can be redone to meet the needs of the neighborhood and the developer.

No. No. No. Our city used to be the laughing stock (knocking down a Frank Lloyd Wright designed office building for a parking lot, etc.) Now we are lauded for our architectural diversity and uniqueness, making Buffalo great again! (sorry) Some folks lack the true vision; to keep what we have, develop it, rehabilitate it, preserve it, celebrate it. Bulldoze it? No! That is no way to celebrate our great city. Stop this madness before Elmwood looks like Yonge St.

I strongly oppose the demolition of these ten structures. Stop trying to ram this through for Ciminelli. Completely in odds with the City's Green Code.

Stop trying to this ram this through. Ciminelli has gotten away with too much bending of ordinances already.
