Euthanasia - the right to die with dignity. If you are a person whom is terminally ill or a family member witnessing helplessly a loved one in distress and agony through their illness then yes Euthanasia should be legalised in the UK. There will be people out there that say no a person should die of natural causes, but unless you are the person with a terminal illness or a family member suffering along with that person they should take a long hard look at the agony and heartache witnessing that person die under such horrific circumstances, and think why should this be allowed? If an animal was terminally ill and no further treatment was available it would immediately be Euthanized. An animal cannot say if it want's this option, but a person or family member can and SHOULD be at least given the legal right and option to do so. If the said person whom is termally ill cannot make the decision for themselves through mental problems, loss of communication or unconsiousness, then the next of kin should be offered euthanasia, giving the terminally ill person a dignified and less painfull distressing death.
