Yes, and that beautiful historical home that is over 150 years old would be destroyed.

McBride has already made their mark in this area. Five hundred plus more homes demonstrates greed and a complete lack of consideration for neighboring communities. Between the negative effects this development will have on traffic and schools, not to mention the beautiful view of the land and farmhouse I see as I come south on 109 towards W, I am completely against rezoning for Windswept Farms or similar communities.

Totally against. We already have intense traffic issues on highway 109 and W/FF. In addition to drainage during heavy rain and flooding.

How many more deaths do we want to see on a this highway that's been obsolete for over 20 years. Let's use common sense about housing developments that can be supported by police, fire, and our educational system. I cannot believe our highway department has assumed this development will not have a negative impact on the safety of all area residents.

Already granted the Six Flags zoning for residential. Please don't drive us away with congestion

I do not support the rezoning effort mainly due to the fact that traffic congestion at the intersection of Highway 109 and Highway FF is already bad enough due to population growth in this part of Jefferson County. I see no effort to fix the infrastructure to solve the current problem. Adding dense housing right at that intersection will only make it worse. There was a different rezoning proposal near Highway 109 and Highway FF that was recently denied more than once by the zoning committee. One of the main public objects was the existing traffic congestion. People drive too fast for conditions on Highway FF, as it is. One of the worst blind corners is adjacent to the proposed rezoning area - right where there would be an entrance to the proposed subdivision! I have seen wording in rezoning proposals such as "a traffic study will need to be done". These turn out to be hollow words used to appease the public. The schedule of the builder is not going to be constrained by the schedule of the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) to fix the congestion, which may never happen. We had a home invasion in 2007. We are only a couple miles from Eureka, but because we are in Jefferson County, we had to wait for the Jefferson County police to arrive. It took over 20 minutes. Might have been longer or shorter - depends on where a policeman might happen to be. Jefferson County is a large county!

The infrastructure and public services are not adequate to support this number of additional homes.

Enough is enough. We don't need the extra congestion. I oppose the high density development that is in defiance of the community plan. Take the development elsewhere.

This will make traffic at the intersection of FF/W/109 ridiculously congested and will completely change the nature of the beautiful rural neighborhood that has been able to remain beautiful due to the large lot zoning. If they have to develop it, develop it using the large lot zoning.

I have lived in this area of Jefferson County for over 17 years and the entrance to my subdivision is within 600 feet of this proposed development. I am opposed to a development of this high density since it will negatively impact the current residents of this area of Jefferson County without providing any benefits.

The roads., schools and retail development of eureka cannot handle another development with hundreds of homes. The traffic alone would be a nightmare. Also the current residents moved to this area because we were NOT surrounded by large small lot subdivisions. This would take away the general "rural" feeling of this area.

The zoning for this area needs to remain in place. I moved here to get away from packed in subdivisions. With the area zoned to be for large acreage lots already I figured my peace and tranquility would be enforced by the county. Now you want to change the zoning to place high density homes behind my property There was a reason the zoning was established and it needs to be upheld. The roads can't take care of the traffic, there is no place in the schools for the extra children, we are on wells and the aquifer can not handle this amount of homes without a adverse affects to those who already live here. Politicians are supposed to represent the people not just corporations. Keep the present zoning in place and the builders can still build homes to keep the area more rural area verses it was zoned to be.

NOPE! I spent 14 years as a first responder and I see no logical way for this development to have anything other than a negative impact on the area. It will send Geggie Elementary to its breaking point with class size, It will turn 109 into a mess similar to Lindbergh or Manchester. The extra structures will add an serious burden to fire and E.M.S services. The Jefferson County Sheriffs Department is already over worked, under paid, and stretched too thin. Highway FF was considered the most dangerous highway in Missouri once MODOT addressed highway 21. In a 5 year span we had 6 fatalities due to traffic accidents. Keep in mind, FF is only approximately 5 milers long. The accident rate has improved since MODOT made improvements. But those improvements are not capable of making that road safer when we add another 1000 cars, twice per day (Minimum) on it! I was relieved when I could come and go from my home without having to stop and assist on fatal accidents. Due to inadequate manpower, when I would stop and assist law enforcement on those scenes, it was not uncommon that I'd stand out there for 45 minutes to an hour waiting for the Highway Patrol to respond to assist Jeffco and Eureka. I could not, in good conscience leave the scene with inadequate coverage to ensure the safety of fellow cops. If we add those extra cars to this roadway, the accident rate and death rate is sure to climb again. Another issue that I haven't seen addressed is the crime rate. Where there are big neighborhoods, there is an increase in crime. It's a statistical fact. I'm not referring to robbery, murder and other part 1 crimes. I'm referring to simple property crimes. Mirasol has been hit several times with people coming out here and breaking into their cars, stealing valuables, firearms and so forth. This will increase! The City of Eureka recently opened it's pool and rec center. It is already over crowded. Is the city planning to expand this, or are they going to build another fac

Please do not put this many homes into such a small space relative to the land provided.

I oppose this. I have been a resident of High Trails subdivision for 29 years. I am very concerned what this would do with possible rezoning of our school district, the additional burden to the Jefferson County sheriffs, the impact to the water table since our whole subdivision is on wells. Also the traffic is already bad on 109, sometimes it backs up all the way into Eureka in the evening.

I grew up out here and am so against this. Have seen all of the changes Six Flags, so many new houses. These roads can not handle this traffic! I have had so many accidents on my corner of Sunrise and FF. My husband and my son tried to pull a high school girl from a burning car. She died! So many more wrecks I can not count! Big neighborhoods and lots of cars don't make a town! People do and we have the right to say no! Please attend this meeting!

Too much traffic congestion at W and 109 already. That entrance to Windswept across from Sunrise is on a bad corner and is not visible until you're right there when traveling toward 109 from FF. I see many more accidents happening there as people currently fly around that curve at 55 miles per hour. Very bad idea!

Please stop packing in the houses. I purchased a home only a few miles south of here and it's already more traffic than the roads can handle. The schools are at or over capacity too. Please keep this area farm land, that's what brought me out here from the suburbs. Build somewhere else!!!

109 is congested enough build elsewhere your me killing the trees and causing problems. Stop with the round abouts already. No matter how many you do people will still never get how to use them.
