I am against this rezoning and I don t believe anyone who lives in or travels this area would want a disastrous change like the rezoning of this land. We all made the area our home as it is now, there is no sensible reason to change. Except for the greed of some people.

The proposed number of homes for this development are far too many! The high density rezoning will result in a lower quality of life for everyone in the surrounding communities. Highway 109 and W/FF will not be able to handle the increased volume of traffic, as they are already at capacity during commuting times. Backups on 44, north of 44 on 109 and including the increased volume feeding W/FF will become a nightmare reality. I moved to Hoene Springs on Highway W for the reasons of the large lots, the nature, and lack of development! As someone who grew up in Western St. Louis county and watched the open spaces and nature become turned into small lot high density subdivision after subdivision we have to draw the line somewhere. This should have been a negotiation with McBride & Sons to lower the number of units and keep the large acreage zoning in place. Instead of approving the rezoning which will allow for their first request of 549 high density units to be approved, with no negotiations or reductions for the number of units. We live in a special place in Missouri and in this country for that matter; lets keep our quality of life high and preserve the nature of our wild spaces!

This proposal does not fit in to the current zoning. It should not be re zoned. Developer should comply with current zoning and submit a plan in compliance with current zoning.

The traffic is already difficult on that little bitty intersection. The schools are full. With all the construction work that will take a toll on the roads more traffic delays. We moved out to get away from all the subdivisions not for them to join us

Hwy 109 will not be able to handle this much more traffic without widening the bridge by two lanes (one going each direction).

Roads not able to accommodate traffic. Schools already overcrowded. The beauty and tranquility of God's creation will once again be destroyed because of greediness. Farmland will once again become rows of houses and asphalt and lights. Sad.

Traffic congestion is already a major problem. Schools are overcrowded. Soon we will be a nation of subdivisions without any farm ground to grow crops to feed the people in these subdivisions.

My wife just sent me a message that she is at the meeting where the Jefferson County zoning committee is going to review the proposal. She said not a lot of the public are there. The Windswept proposal is item 6 on the agenda and they are on item 3 at 8:30pm.

Please preserve the large lot responsible pan for development. That's was drew all of us to build in the Northwest area of Jefferson County. Our roads are inadequate to handle more traffic and our wells are of great concern.

I am totally against the Windswept Farms development! Schools will be impacted, roads cannot handle that much traffic and it is located in a flood zone. Traffic is bad enough already!

I agree traffic is a nightmare now
Eureka cannot handle the volume of traffic now
