Other universities are divesting, and Plymouth uni just held it's own Climate Conference. Lead by example!

Also keep fossil fuels in the ground and PLEASE force the conservatives and Lib Dems to say NO to Fracking all together PLEASE. You must also SCRAP the whole TTIP deal all together (including CETA, TISA and ISDS) and PLEASE say NO to TTIP etc. PLEASE!!!!!

It's so disappointing that our university is investing in fossil fuels and arms companies. Please divest from these destructive industries! As a student, I would be so proud if Exeter was making more socially responsible and sustainable investments.

Increasingly I find that there is a dichotomy between our capitalist way of life, and the underlying ethical viewpoint that might ensure our survival on this planet. So it is right that in the world of finance, we should move towards ethical investment as a way to reconcile that dichotomy.
