This is the only ethical action to take. The university prides itself on being an ethical and fair institution which it cannot be if it continues to dabble in investment in arms and fossil fuels, things which damage people, animals and the environment. I strongly support this petition for change as a student of the university.

Strongly encourage that the university move towards a more ethical investment portfolio. This will not only help the environment in terms of ecological sustainability, but it will further promote the University's image to a more environmentally friendly one.

Exeter prides itself on being a 'green' campus and leading in Climate Change research, so it's a massive contradiction to still be investing into the dirty fossil fuel industry! Get the money we have invested into our university OUT of fossil fuels and invest it in something that doesn't endanger our futures!
