It is vile that the University of Exeter is investing in arms, fossil fuels and tobacco. Absolutely backwards for a university that has courses in Conservation and otherwise seems to pride itself on it's sustainability. They should divest the money as soon as possible.

I believe it's exceptionally important that we get the University of Exeter to do what this petition, that I have definitely read in all it's totality, says and divest from fossil fuels or something important for the environment.

It is counterintuitive to have departments studying climate change, and then to invest in the fossil fuels the departments are proving to be contributing to climate change. As for investing in arms, it seems hard to class that as being ethical.
