Great initiative and much needed.
Respite services available through DHBs are generally not nice warm positive environments with only a very short time available to stay . Private centres for mental health cost upwards of $1000 a week and most people can't afford that. Sadly public health is very underfunded in this area and centres have closed due to this but the government thinks spending 26 million on flag referendums is important right??? Face palm !
