Wow,very cool..My partner and I are looking at creating a retreat place for people that are supporting those that maybe addicts,depression,illness..the caregivers are often forgotten and not supported,so like you, want to do something to help..we are striving to get our place in Hawkes Bay ready to nuture such people..networking with the likes of yourselves would be great..many blessings to you..Lyn and Carl

I totally support ETC. We need to do this and do this fast. We need to support the people who need it. We need to stop this horrendous suicide rate. Let's step up NZ and get this to zero! There is no need to lose another life.

We are all subject to this pressure cooker economic experiment and suicide is the way out for so many of us. - and that IS 'us' we're talking about - not always some 'other' we might or might not know. 564 - that is a crime of irresponsibility. Our 'government' don't want to talk about this number because it is so often the result of their 'rationalisation' in order to cut costs and to maximise profits. Listen to this lecture by Professor Guy Standing , Professor of Development Studies the University of London , describing 'The Precariat' the new class that so many of us now find ourselves in, - living precarious existances with little or no security. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRNhtGtO9pg

We need change in this country. Our system are not working. But I pledge to support ETC, True North and other groups and institutions, as well as individuals. In the hopes that one day NZ can be suicide free.

Most people that commit suicide don't want to die. They just want the pain to go away! They just want help! Please share this page and help those in need.
