We, the under signed nurses and staff of Springfield Hospital, have long felt our voices for change have not been heard. Change that is desperately needed to improve quality of care, financial status, and retention of the best employees. Here and now we have a chance and demand to have our true opinions heard. We also feel our opinions have been misrepresented about our colleagues, the Physician's Assistants (PA's) of the group, Emergency Services of New England.
Today we wish to sign this petition in a show of support for our ED staffing group, Emergency Services of New England. ESNE has deep ties to the community and resounding relationships with our patients, a group that strives daily for practicing the most up to date, evidence based medicine, and that not only works to better themselves but also, all those they work with.
We feel it would be a determent of paramount proportions to replace such a group, especially in this time of great need, to resurrect one of the best community hospitals.

I have been here about a year now and the PAs have all been wonderful to work with. Not only do we love them, but our patients do as well!
Our current nursing and PA-C staff are amazing at what they do, please don’t compromise patient care by losing them.
In 15 years of EMS and personal interaction with area hospitals I have always admired the professional and personal touch that ESNE has brought to Springfield Hospital. It truly sets Springfield apart from the rest!
ESNE has been a valuable asset to our emergency room, to our hospital, and to our community for many years! Losing them would be a devastating loss for all of us, and most important, a devastating loss to our patients!
ESNE has served SHED very well for many years. This change will not be for the better!
Not only are we coworkers, we are family

I have worked with the ESNE providers for 5 years as an LNA in the Ed and over 2 years as an RN in the IPCU and they are an integral part of our hospital. We need them.
