This year I was affected by this. I had a ESN position and then it was stopped by my health authority. I hope this will be changed so future students can take advantage of this program.

By approving the by-law you, the Ministry of Health, will be sending out better qualified and confident nurses into the work force.

This government is so disconnected with the realities of it's citizens. Why are they making it so difficult for people to make a living while going to school.

This does not seem fair. Please change the CRPNBC by-law to allow RPN students to take part in the ESN program. Work study is a long-recognized valuable way for students to gain experience, and for employers to gain extra help at minimal cost.

It is important for all students in the nursing field to get the opportunity to maximize their practical skills and be as best prepared to enter the workforce as possible to ensure that all patients get the best possible care. Preventing one branch of nursing from doing this, even when the organizations involved in training these nurses are willing to make the necessary changes to meet changing requirements and expectations is only limiting our future healthcare. With an increasing elderly population and awareness of mental illnesses the need for Psychiatric Nurses is only going to increase and it is only in our best interest to do everything we can to help them prepare for the demands ahead of them.

I think that Psyciatric Nursing students should be able to be part of the ESN program the same as any regular nursing students.
