I say YES for scooters in Ireland.

Should of been legalised ages ago I think We need a new minister for transport somebody with a more modernised mindset

I cycle but this is great for outdoor who don't want to even do that

The local authorities should be advocating for communities like these which are solving the traffic problems of this awfully congested city.

Please legalise the eRides, is the best way to get to work avoiding the traffic stuck in cars, is the best clean energy as well.

The traffic is so bad in Dublin that in order to get to work in the mornings it was taking me 45-50mins by bus. I purchased an electric skateboard and now it takes me at max 15mins.. Bringing the skateboard with me has become daily routine and has saved me a lot of time and money especially when commuting up every morning from Westmeath.

It’s the future for transport. I’d rather get rained on, on an escooter going to work than stuck in the car for 60+ Min like I used to!

Change the law please to classify them in the same category as bicycles.

Electric scooters, need to be pushed off by foot, so aren't fully electric! Also should be legal if under 25 kph Scooters can't be insured Cyclist don't need insurance! I was in the guarda station for an unrelated issue and the guard was so interested!! He asked me how many my scooter was, where to buy it etc!!! If you respect people and try to be safe it's a no brainer!!! Please sign!!!

Law should be 100% clear on scooters etc. so that users know exactly where they stand.

I own an kick scooter in Dublin for a month now and it's being a great experience, eco-friendly and accessible vehicle so far. I think it is ridiculous to have them banned based on a 1968 law. I usually get overtaken by bicycles way faster than my e-scooter that cant go faster than 25km/h. Why should we be regulated as a kind of motorbike? Insane.
