Throughout the past few years vape usage by teens has gone up like crazy and part of that problem is the internet. As our society grows, influencers and regular everyday people are posting vaping content on social media that makes teens think vaping isn't bad.

52% of teens are getting online ads in their feed for nicotine products which often leads them to try it.

75% of influencers who are paid to show e-cigarettes in a positive way don't have any age restrictions for their posts.

32% of Massachusetts high school students reported vaping in the past 30 days compared to 5.6% of adults (2019).

We made this petition to spread the word about the problem of teens seeing vaping content on social media. This influences teens to vape. Signing your name helps us to tell these big platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat that they need to change their policies so that minors no longer see vaping content. Minors are being targeted and these platforms have the power to put more protocols on their apps to block these things.
