Hemp and CBD is legal in WI. It helps those of us who need and it works for them medicinally. I use for Migraines, Insomnia and DJD (Degenerative joint disease). It helps keep me on a lower dose of opioids. Which I'm trying to get off of totally by using CBD oil and other products. Other stores in Cedarburg already sell CBD oil in their stores, they just aren't a "dispensary". What's in a name? Just change the codes/guidelines and let them have their stores!

I support allowing Erth Dispensary to open in downtown Cedarburg. It would bring revenue to the local economy like many of the other shops, restaurants, and bars. Also, scientific evidence has proven CBD provides a number of health benefits. It's very hypocritical to allow a number of establishments to obtain liquor licenses in downtown Cedarburg, but deny Erth Dispensary from opening.

Many of us deal with chronic pain and are desperate for a natural and non-opiate affordable solution!

I think we need this type of dispensary. I suffer from chronic pain & am not getting any help from "pain management" doctors.

Yes, people please educate yourselves. CBD is not pot and you won’t get “high”.

I would certainly welcome this store. I’d prefer to shop/support local rather than online. I do not understand the issue/hold up since there are stores in Cedarburg who already sell CBD products. You can even get ice cream infused with CBD in Port Washington. People need to educate themselves.

The cannabis plant saves lives. It can cure kids from having multiple seizures per day. It can give a cancer patient their appetite back. It can replace opioids for pain relief and the side effects of cannabis are munchies, red eyes, and short term memory loss. More people die each year from opioid overdose than in car crashes. It’s a major problem and the answer is simple. Use a plant that has ZERO overdose deaths in over 1,000 years of human consumption. Why do politicians let lobbyists pay to keep harmful drugs on the market and pay to keep safe alternatives illegal? Please don’t let big pharma right the letter of the law with their deep pockets. Let the people grow their own medicine!!!

I do believe it is a lack of information holding this business back. Please know there is a store in Cedarburg that is definitely positioning themselves for the future of any legalization of cannibis. I was told this by the staff. Would they have anything to do with this fight?

I recognize the good leaders of Cedarburg moving ahead with caution, and appreciate that. But honestly, plant medicines are ancient, highly effective, nontoxic, nonaddictive, far far safer than pharmaceuticals, and legal. Allowing this business will also be good for area businesses, too. People with medical need will drive to Cedarburg and their chances of staying to dine, shop, etc, are high. (No pun intended.) Please our Cedarburg in the news by allowing this business to open its doors.

I use CBD daily and would love to have a local shop to purchase it through.
