I would love to see signs in town that say "Eggs for sale"! Better eating, community involvement, etc.

I think this is a great idea, chickens bring many many positive things to the table and very few negative. I live in Morrison, but am signing this petition because I think the residents of Erie deserve to have chickens if they choose, and Im hoping Morrison will follow in their footsteps. Im excited about this becoming a reality.

There are many benefits to having backyard chickens as pets and very few negatives.

I was raised having chickens in town at my grandparents house, i even had a pet red hen named Biddy that would sit on our laps and learned how to open and close the screen door when she wanted to come in the house! Plus nothings better then fresh eggs.

i see nothing wrong with having chickens in your back yard as long as they are being taken care of and not neglected....it could teach kids all about the responsibility of having farm animals..

This is a farming community. If we can't have a few hens for our own personal well-being, I don't know who can. Let's show Erie IS a progressive community.
