There is without the wheel not enough parking. Taking the traffic into consideration it is possible to accommodate any more without having Louis Fourie as a double road.

The issue with something like this (just like the zipline) is that they will charge an absurd amount of money that most locals cannot afford, making the attraction mainly for tourists. We have to deal with the influx of traffic and people and be inconvenienced even more just for some tourists that come to town for 3 weeks a year. Yes tourists are good for the town but why not make new attractions that are accessible to all, especially the people that are supposed to keep the business afloat during off season. Rather improve the businesses that are already in town, and only when they are perfect build new stuff. And the people saying that the traffic is worse in GP, one of the reasons you come to a small town is to escape the city traffic. What makes us any different to jhb if we end up having all the same attractions you can find there and take an hour to get to your destination like the city in any case?

Ek stem teen die oprig van die Ferris Weel. Di sal die punt se 'looks', oorspronklikheid, gevoel ens skend. Die punt gaan verseker nie meer wees waarvoor dit soveel jaar naam maak nie.

I am not in favour of the Ferris wheel at the point area as the area and the road is already overcrowded with too little parking available currently
