I am not in favour of the erectionof the ferris wheel at the point area as the area are already over crowded with insufficient parking and it would to the detriment of the heritage of the area.

I don’t think the position of the ferris wheel is ideal. It takes up a lot of the already limited parking space. Not to mention the eyesore. There are definitely other more suitable spaces.

First some comment on some of the comments above:
1. If you are against the Ferris Wheel, by just saying "NO" on this petition page, ads no value.
2. If against or for the Ferris Wheel, give your reasons. It helps with the debate.
As a member of Mossel Bay Tourism, I 100% see the value of the Ferris Wheel at the point.
I was in Cape Town 3 weeks ago and went on the Ferris Wheel at the V&A Waterfront for my 3rd time.
The area that the actual wheel operation covers, is less than 300m2.
By far the most objections is with respect to parking. We all know parking is a problem at the point.
What about the idea that Ferries Wheel parking be at another area with the ticket-sales, and the ticket holders then transported by shuttle to the point.
Problem solved.
I support the idea of the Ferris Wheel at the Point
