Bill Mason & Mary Locher
My first question when reading the e-mail about purchase and construct was, why is there not an option to buy only.
I believe we need to protect what we have, without fear of encroachment on HP, without control.
I vote for purchase, without an immediate commitment to construct.

I am in favor of purchasing this land. Our community is growing and is need of options that this will provide. We are in need of more housing, more golf, and more space for amenities. This has to be a no brainer.

We're all for getting the property and incorporating into a sensible long range usage plan that best addresses the community priorities. I do feel there are many priorities higher than an expansion of the golf course at this time. This acquition gives us significant flexibility for years to come.

It seems to me that we need to have all relevant information to consider.

i think we as homeowners deserve to know all the facts and be given the option to deceide what the land should be used for, if purchased

We may be sorry if we let this land slip by. Not sure if we need "another nine" but who knows.

I responded to survey indicating interest in purchasing property, I did not think that response limited use to golf. This is what I had intended.

Work needs to be done to integrate the long range planning project and the land acquisition proposal. To consider them separately is a risky and expensive approach.

I believe we should take the time to look into the possibility of purchasing this 70 acre parcel of land because it will definately have a positive effect on the future of Heritage Palms. I bellieve this land will become very valuable to us in many ways. We are literally closing ourselves in now if we continue with the "long range plan".

Strongly in favor of being appraised of all options including new land option for possible use other than golf ,ie) walking trails, bike paths ,other options as have been discussed for current land but perhaps having a less crowded or retrofit perspective.

I am probably always going to be positive regarding any improvements to the courses at HPGCC. I think 36 holes of golf is a huge attraction, and 45 would be awesome. We have some of the largest if not the largest participation of MGA & WGA golfers in the state, maybe the whole country! Why wouldn't this be a great move? I would sooner do this and cut back some on the other projects being proposed and put this at the top.

I think we should explore all utilization options, but more importantly grab the land first, then determine how we as a community can best use the property.
