THIS. I have seen this happen to friends way too many times. Pain doesnt have a color and doctors need to do better.
Too many of us suffering in silence because doctors are scared of their own stereotypes. Treat the patient not the color.
Finally someone said it. The bias in the medical field is real and it needs to end now.
Doctors need to stop assuming things and actually listen to people. My aunt has been in pain for years and they act like shes just looking for a fix. Its insulting.
My back is shot and every time I go in it feels like they look at me like a criminal. Just want some relief man.

About time we brought this up. Discrimination in healthcare is a huge problem that nobody wants to talk about.
