We as doctors or anyone of a different race who has been treated on the belief that others' race is superior strongly believe this day must come.We can make it happen by asking DSM-5 authors to add Racism as a Mental Illness. The reason is obvious and statistically proven; racist people do more harm than schizophrenic people.So why don't we start describing racism as what it truly is, a mental Illness? As a result, racist people will certainly seek help for their Illness.

This would change everything. If someone is truly sick they should be getting treatment so they stop hurting others.
Every human being should be treated as equal. This is reminding me our famous ancestor with his book" De l'egalite des races humaines". Dixit Antenor Firmin.
Finally someone said it. Hate is definitely just a sickness in the head. Hope they listen!
Ignorant people need help, not just punishment. Treating this as a mental health issue is the only logical step for our society.
Its about time we started calling it what it is. A mental illness. Hopefully this helps people wake up.
