It's a skateboard, I can't understand why school officials worry about such minor issue, let kids be kids

Used to love skating and biking. They should have lockers avilabke for there boards in School.

I am happy to sign this petition. I would love to see a locker system option offered to our students. We offer them a bike rack to lock up their bikes. Often times their skateboards cost way more money than a bike. It seems as if there is no real system in place to allow the students who skate to school to feel that their property is valued. And it seems like a simple fix to install a locker system for skateboards just as you have for bikes. Why would we not try to foster a physical and creative outlet for our young adults? This is a great idea.

I would like to see more kids on skateboards or bikes or anything that gets them moving and enjoying the outdoors. May you go forward with respect and a good business plan and remember whatever the outcome, God is in control. : )

Boards can be used as a weapon?
That doesn't make sense to me. Uptight adults have been anti-skater and anti-boards for decades - even as far back as when Josiah's Dad was a kid with a board.
This is a respectable way to have your voice heard and I support you, Jo.

Arrested? How can it be regarded as a criminal act to protect your own property? A skateboard is like a bike, it's transportation and should be accommodated as such.

Growing up my now husband and my brother were both skateboarders and I have a 16 year old son who is also a skater. I am a big supporter of letting kids skate!
