Outsourcing essential work to these cut price firms has created a major infection control problem in the NHS as workers cannot afford to take time off when sick. All workers need to be on proper NHS contracts in order that we can offer a safe and effective service.

Portering and cleaning / front of house staff are disproportionately affected by the pandemic and this is partially through subcontracting their employment to external providers who employ a brutal, cost cutting economy of scale. Time for this to stop
