Equal Employment For All Races
Every human on Earth should have an equal opportunity to be evaluated for a job based upon their skills, personal qualities, etc...as opposed to their race. We find that in many corporate businesses in America, employers require their applicants to enter their race during the application process, yet what does this information have anything to do with their employment possibility? The aim is to eliminate any inquisition of race during the application process for corporate businesses. Studies show that many businesses avidly racially discriminate through the means of area codes, zip codes, and first and last names. Studies also prove that there are significant differences in the amount of callbacks, favoring the white race over the black. This social injustice raises alarm and requires societal action because it is widely believed that racism is an issue of the past, but a closer look proves otherwise. Every person deserves an equal chance of employment without a judgement of race dependent on a stereotype or racial belief.
