Every high schooler determines whether or not we want to go to college. But is it fair if we have to compete with other schools' easier grading scales? We understand that the Elk Point-Jefferson School District wants to provide a successful and excellent learning opportunity for students, but is that the case? Take this for example:

If a student in Sioux Falls has all 90s he would have a A's, which would give him a 4.0, but a student at EPJ would have about a B+ which would give us a 3.5 GPA. It is a proven fact that colleges do not look at which school you go to to determine whether or not to accept you. So the EPJ school district is actually doing a disservice to its students.
