The EPF or KWSP, Malaysia, is proposing to raise the age of complete withdrawal of a member's contributions from 55 years to 60, in line with the current retirement age.
We EPF members want the withdrawal age of 55 to be maintained, but with the option for members to make complete withdrawal at age 60.
Many of us have been preparing for years to make the complete withdrawal at 55, either to retire early, pay off our outstanding financial commitments or invest in ventures to fund our post-retirement lives. The EPF cannot raise this age to 60 suddenly.
We ask that you sign this petition against raising the withdrawal age, to be submitted to the Malaysian Government. Please rope in your parliamentary representative in this effort as well.
We are aiming for at least 100,000 signatures - the EPF money is ours to use as we please and we want to take it out at age 55.
Many already have plans especially for children education due to poor acceptance of non-bumis in public universities. Keep it at 55.

I want my EDF full withdrawal to stay & maintain at age of 55. EPF has no right to change existing option. They can Add New prosposal options but must sure is beneficial & profit for public retirement and not just self gain.

by raising the ceiling to 60 just shows you are the most inconsiderate, selfish and inhumane people. How sure we can all live to 60? After slogging for 50 years you expect me to part with money at 60 yrs old.
