"According to the DVD commentaries, an entire set-piece Faramir/Éowyn wedding scene was actually filmed, which Oscar-winning costume designer Ngila Dickson
states features what she feels are the best costumes she produced for
the entire film trilogy. While this scene has been described in the DVD
commentaries and other interviews, it was ultimately cut and not even
included in the Extended Edition, nor have any photos of the scene ever
been made public." (Wikipedia)
If we reach the signature goal on this petition, we will attempt to send it to Peter Jackson with the goal of getting this material released. Please contribute your signature to this, the most important of all internet petitions.
I can't sign this petition for you, Mr. Frodo, but I can create it for you.
Surely there's going to be a MASS EXTENDED EDITION release of all the films for this coming Christmas. Wouldn't that be the perfect time?!

Scene should have been in extended edition. People would buy another extended extended dvd collection just to see this alone! Please release !

The Éowyn/Faramir scenes would be my first priority, but why stop there? You've got some LOTR fans that would probably watch every single scrapped plot point there was. *cough*cough*ME*. But if that's too much to ask, just the Éowyn/Faramir. PLEASE.

We, LOTR fans, deserve to watch this scene! Was too much Aragorn and Arwen and too little Faramir and Éowyn, it's beyond unfair!
Please <3

I adore Faramir and Eowyn, and I've always wished we could have seen more of them together.

Their's were the scenes I was most looking foward to when the extended version came out. Their love is so beautiful (even more so in the book)! And they're both badass, and soo deserving of the love they find in each other! I was so sad we never even got to see them kiss (though David's lovey-dovey eyes get me every time).
Release the scene, Peter. Please! :)
