His TV show For The Love Of Dogs tugs at our heartstrings week in week out as he helps to rehome the saddest pups left in the care of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
He was made an MBE for Service to Entertainment in 2008.
But Entertainment Daily thinks it's time for the monarch to go one step further and offer him a knighthood in the 2023 New Year's Honours in recognition of his unwavering support of animals in need.

His radio show brings much needed. Sunday- night joy to the nation. His genuine love of animals shines through everything he does. He is an exemplary human being and his contribution to broadcasting is outstanding- he deserves the recognition a Knighthood would bring.
Paul deserves to be knighted more than any other celebrity as he actually does do something worthwhile for animals. The rest of the celebs do a acting/footballing job, get a huge pay out and go home. Come on, give Paul his knighthood!
Paul O’Grady has been a wonderful caring person not only to animals but also to people, he looked after old and disabled people when working for social services and he cared for his friends who were dying during the AIDS epidemic in the late 80s and 90s!
