But knoking it down would be good in some ways as some shops are really good in there such as the laptop statiom and the barber shop which have been there for a long time and have both gone from a small shop to a big shop such as laptop station who have expanded 3 times since they went in

Not enough of interest to go there that often anymore. Was much more variety and more appealing in its early days especially when the market was there.

I attend yoga classes here. I enjoy the class, like the teachers and think the premises are lovely and serene. As for the centre, I wish it had more interesting shops. It is always very quiet and the shops a bit random. Technically, it could be a nice centre but it lacks appeal and atmosphere

We had shop in the centre & it cost us dearly. It was the worst thing we could have done. Still paying it off now. I based all our estimates on the foot fall. I wished we never set eyes on the place.

I only go in here for laptop station, as the rest of the shops always seem to change. When I visit it always seems like I am the only one in shopping centre, as there is no one to be seen down the hallways. I hope this place improves!

I had a friend who had a shop here! She had to close it as there was no footfall. She would sit around for days for nothing! No one. It is a real shame, as this place could be something really special if the owners would concentrate their efforts from ripping people off! I feel sorry for the small businesses who are trapped there until there contracts end.

The figures are false to get people to ope a shop the machine picks up people going in and out for cigarettes as shop keepers are that bored

As a previous shop owner in the Enterprise Centre for 2 years I can confirm that there is not 50,000 customers a month as stated on their website! This is just a method used to lure in new business owners onto the sinking ship.

I haven't been to the centre in months, as every time I have gone there is a lot of empty shops, and I seemed to have been the only one in the centre. I feel awkward walking around when no one else is there. I feel really sorry for the shop owners! Sitting around all day doing nothing, but watching there business sink into the ground. Shops need customers to survive!

My mum had a clothes shop in the centre for 3 years, and it was the worst mistake of her life! She is working hard still now to pay back the debt caused by this poorly managed centre full of false promises.

I had a friend who had a shop in here for 2 years! It was the worst mistake of his life. Businesses were closing around him, and no one was coming through the door. His maximum customers a day was about 3/4 people if he was lucky! There was days when he would not see anyone for days or weeks. The centre manager is a deceitful witch! Do not full for any of her lies and tricks.

2000 customers a day? This is brilliant! I laughed so much that I spat my tea out. Maybe 2 a day? 20 a day if you are really lucky. No wonder businesses come and go with false figures like this.

Wow, I NEARLY took a shop here a month or two ago for my online business to diversify to a physical shop. After reading this, I'm so glad I didn't and chose another location in Eastbourne instead.
I find the enterprise centre to be pretty depressing, if I'm honest.

The footfall figures issued are incorrect as they are a combination. Of the lap top station and the minimal amount of vistors to the main centre.

This little centre used to thrive way back in the days when I worked in the market there (20 years ago now!) the shops were busy and there was a great selection of things to look at. Now it's a very different story. I visit the centre to shop at 'Oh My Goodness', and the centre is like a ghost town. It's a place to visit if you're going to a specific shop, but there's no passing trade, and I'd be extremely surprised if the footfall exceeds 200 per day, never mind 2000! It's such a shame for the struggling businesses in there.

The Enterprise Centre is dead most of the time, it's a wonder tumble weed isn't flying around the place. I feel so sorry for the lovely businesses in there, such as they are being not many. They don't advertise the place either.

I walk past the enterprise when going into the town I never shop in there as it's very expensive and to quiet nobody was in there. So glad I didn't open my shop in there :(

Isn't this nicknamed the Ghost Centre? There is nothing in there apart from empty shops, and unhappy shop owners who are stuck! There should be a petition to save the poor shop owners who are being conned weekly into paying the high rents for nothing!
