Islam is a religion not a race. Furthermore, whilst I appreciate that peaceful Muslims need to be protected, Radical Islam, which is sadly growing is an existential problem worldwide. This has been demonstrated by incidents like the Twin Towers and the Charlie Hebo in France. Radical Islam encourages Jihad, and martyrdom, placing death as a wonderful thing in the furtherment of Islam. It is often preached by radical Imans and as far as I am aware, this is the only religion that has such a practice. Clearly, a distinction between Muslims who peacefully practice their faith and radical Islam needs to be established. Radical Islam is a serious threat to all countries and all religions as their stated aim is world domination and death to infidels, ie anyone who does not follow Sharia law and the teaching of Mohammed. A law protecting that includes protecting Radical Islam is a law endangering society.
