We should be allowed to criticise all religions equally, not select one that we cannot!

The most blasphemed name is The Lord Jesus Christ. I movies, Adds, Sports, Music etc…… let’s deal with this first. We pray for all Muslims & stand against any attack on any human being.

Islam is a religion not a ethnic group. This proposed definition will make it illegal to criticise Islam. This is a blasphemy law by any other name.

Call it Muslim hatred. Much clearer. Islam as a religion should be up for open discussion.

The term Islamophobia is being abused and allowing certain demographics to get away with behaviour that no other group of people would be allowed to get away with.

I do believe that the rationale behind this is to make it blasphemous to criticise or use the word Islamophobia

This is not necessary nor the right time - seems that our government want to secure the votes of certain faith groups by passing such laws

My grave concern regarding the proposed Islamophobia bill is the shutting down of free speech concerning Islam. I am not alone in this sentiment. Please reconsider it.
