This is an outrage! Clearly the mayor and most of the council need to be replaced.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! You didn’t earn this money that you are, literally stealing from the taxpayers of Edmonds.

Cut spending on frivolous programs and focus fiscal restraint. The voters spoke loud and clear by vehemently rejecting Prop 1.

The mayor and council members Eck, Paine, and Nand have lost all credibility. No more tax increases without detailed auditing of where the money is going.

Yes to everything outlined in the petition. The mayor and council - exception Dotsch and Chen - continue to willfully ignore the will of the people.

I already pay incredibly high utilities for me a one person household. It would onerous to raise these utils to make up you deficit. How about sell some police cars that sit in the lot all the time.

Once again Edmonds CC and Mayor are failing to read the room. Prop 1 was voted a resounding no by the people. Now you are going behind the voters backs to pass a 4 million dollar tax levy without a vote. There have been viable solutions to look at, put forth be CM Chen and Dotsch, as well as input from the public. This move is underhanded and lacks any kind of ‘transparency’ that the Mayor and CC constantly spout. This is not good governance?

It is time for this mayor and city council to start being fiscally responsible and start listening tithe people they represent.

City of Edmonds: Just stop trying to solve your problems by finding sneaky ways to drain our pocketbooks. We don’t need all the services you want to be the boss of. What about putting your energy into developing volunteer programs? I would be happy to participate in that!

Reconsider the proposed increase in utility rates for Edmonds. It's another property tax disguised as something else.

Seriously Edmonds….How stupid do you think we are!! You can not sweep this under the carpet any longer….you’ve been over spending for years….the answer is not to just put your hand out again!! Enough is Enough…. Your only answer seems to be “we’ll Edmonds has been charged so little up until now” You work for the PEOPLE!!
