The government continues to ignore the absence of laws against torture in our country. Take this link and email your local representative to demand they raise this issue in the next session. We need to keep the pressure on until they acknowledge how urgent this is for our safety.

its long overdue. enough is enough with the violence.
How can we call ourselves a democracy when people are still being treated this way? This needs to stop now.
ABOUT TIME!!! Everyone deserves basic human rights regardless of politics.
