It's just another reason to write a ticket to generate revenue for the city.

It’s hard to not park on the street as an intern, student and working full time

It deters overnight stays and people traveling to and from their city. As well as deters people from commerce.

We share a driveway with our neighbors on a vastly different time schedule. We understand parking in the driveway during adverse weather conditions, but not when the roads are perfectly clear.

I concur, especially since the safety director is ignorant. His secretary isn’t a catch either; both of them are condescending and could care less how inconvenient this “law” or “ban” or whatever you call it is to the citizens. I have nowhere to park overnight because the house I live in is a corner house, so it doesn’t have the luxury of 6 car driveways like the rest of the neighborhood does. And God forbid if you have more than two cars, that just is stupid of anyone who does. The people I live with take up the two car driveway, and I’m told by the above mentioned secretary to “figure it out”. Yeah, I’d rather figure out why God wasted His space and air on the director and that wench. Rant over.

The snow ban on nights where there isn't any chance of snow is ridiculous.

Base it on snow accumulation. It makes sense when 80% of driveways can only fit 1-2 cars.

There shouldnt be a ban, unless there is enough snow on the roads that they need plowed.

I demand the snow ban end! It should only be in effect on days there is snow.

I have lived in Parma since 2015. I moved here from Cleveland. We didn't have a parking ban in Cleveland, but because this is PARMA, yeah put a parking ban into place!! Trust me...if I lived in a single family home I would be using the driveway EVERY SINGLE DAY!! That's how it was when I lived in Cleveland!! This winter parking ban is obsurd, to say the least. I live in a two-story house. There is a couple that lives downstairs. They have 2 cars, and if I'm not in the way of them getting out of the driveway, I'm in the way of them getting in the driveway!! This is rediculous!! I would love to park on the street year round and not have to pay $10 just to park on the street in front of the house that I pay rent to live in!! This needs to stop!! By the way, Spring begins in March, so I don't know why they call it a Winter Parking Ban, especially since it ends in April which is SPRINGTIME!! This needs to stop!!!!
