I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you stepped up to challenge this parking ban. If we can reach five hundred people by tonight it really shows the city how much this matters to our neighbors.

I am honestly stunned to see so many people finding this petition and adding their names. It really is your momentum that is pushing this forward and I am so grateful to be part of such a motivated group. If we can reach that hundred mark today I know the city will have to acknowledge the frustration we all feel.

I just moved here in February and was surprised by this ban. It only makes sense when there is snow on the ground that exceeds 2 inches. I and many of my neighbors have 3 cars and not enough garage space. Repeal this unnecessary ban.
Absolutely ridiculous ban. I've only received tickets on nights it wasn't snowing . First city I've lived in that there was a ban when it wasn't snowing. It's not that hard to deliver a ban in anticipation of snow.
At least shorten the hours so that when move cars in the morning to go to work you can leave them on the road. My daughter works nights I work days I leave for work at 5 and put her car on the street. I got a 50 $ ticket for putting a car on the street one hour early.
2" or more. I'm a single mom and I have 4 drivers in my home and a very small driveway; I can't afford tickets, nor can I afford to have to pay a fee for the privilege of parking in the street in the winter when there's no snow on the ground.
This ban is a major inconvenience to our family as we have 4 cars and 2 parking spaces which means we need to borrow neighbors driveways too and do the first to work car shuffle everyday too. I can understand having it when it snows but when it's 60 in November it is not necessary!
There is 4 people who live in the house and 5 vehicles one has to stay on the street overnight
Keep the ban. Russian/Ukranian car business's working out of homes have 10 cars! City, crack down!

It is ridiculous that we pay taxes on streets all year that we can only park on 6 months out of the year. Families with multiple drivers and multiple vehicles “ all working and paying taxes” struggle for enough room to park in driveways.
