Please restore judging to the breed standard including proportions specified - Distance from the elbow to the ground should be equal
to one half of the height at the withers. A casual glance shows that many winners are not meeting these standards and appear very unhealthy in appearance and in working ability. Why are you shaping the breed toward this newer, fatter version? I strongly protest.

Made me sick to see Joan of Arc at Westminster Sunday. I was ashamed to say I own a chocolate lab -- which looks nothing like that!

Obesity should not be something strive for. It seems as if labrador show rings that is the only way to win.
Very frustrating to try to show a dog that is actually fit. Judges do not even look at them because they a not fat enough. Fat is not big bone
