Please pass the bill to end horse slaughter! It's a disgusting inhumane way to treat the animals without whom this country could not be built. How could this evil be allowed. I'm appalled and horrified at the sneaky way things have been proceeding. There's no need to explain! Our citizens are outraged.

when I heard that they were going to resume horse slaughter for human consumption, my first reaction was crying. I though that the government finally realized that these sentient beings that symbolized the country that they govern maybe wouldn't want to be brutally mistreated to end up on some Belgium guy's plate if they had a choice. I though that the hundreds of protests, signatures, and disprovals of the slaughter of these magnificent creatures had ended the brutal slaughter. I guess that even though that 70% of Americans don't agree with horse slaughter, they still resume this horrific act of killing, I though this was a democracy!?!?!

As an artist that paints horses I find slaughter of horses horrific and take it personally that their are those who are abusing and killing an animal who has given so much and still does. We need to stop this now it has gone too long!

please leave our horses alone and let them be at peace.
I strongly oppose horse slaughter in this country or any other country , it is moraly wrong and should be stopped in its tracks .

who is, of us all, a person that did not desired to go horseback-riding, did not learned to do so or just dreamed about it. We set up pony rides for our children, we invite the whole classroom, they love it. Horses are for pleasure, for learning, for therapy, for work, for sport, they take us to the Olympics, they keep us company, they are majestic, they are prestigious or just plain sweet. They are not meat to eat. This thought is the biggest betrayal we can do to them. We ask them so much, like to keep us and our children safe, then we look at them and say :" just kidding, now Ill kill you and Ill eat you. Shame!
