I apply for the renewal of my CCL on 10-31-19 and for the renewal of my FOID card on 12-07-19 almost a year since I aply for the renewal of my CCL and still under review.

Retired after 36 years of federal government law enforcement cant be that hard to do my background checks as they were conducted every 5 years for my job. This is really disappointing.

I applied for my FOID renewal 11-01-19 and it's 03-13-20 & I've had no response. It says processing on the website. I also have a valid CCL , but I don't know if I can legally carry without my FOID card and can't get anybody to answer the phone to tell me!

I've had the state deny my rights for delaying my FOID renewal for 120 days, and counting. Members of my family, both veterans, have waited as long, or longer.

Stop allocating our fees to other departments and process our FOID cards in a timely manner. Don’t turn law abiding citizens into criminals because you can’t get it together.
