Dolphins are beautiful captivating creatures of the ocean. These glorious animals are friendly, loving and energetic. In the wild dolphins travel in pods with their families, yet some of them are captured to be slaughtered or placed in captivity. The dolphins in captivity are then trained to perform for the public or to be bred. We admire these animals because of their ability to communicate and show love towards humans, yet capturing them to become performers can destroy them. A high percentage of dolphins captured will die within three months, and over 50 percent die within the first few years living in captivity. Dolphins are highly intelligent, obedient animals that are able to learn quickly. Baby dolphins that are born into captivity are never able to be released back into the wild because they lack the necessary skills to survive. Dolphins learn how to hunt and use their sonar when they are born into the wild, and dolphins born into captivity do not. I woll be in Tenerife to expose the shocking, cruel way they live. This petotion will be handed over th the 22 dolphinariums in tenerife, Aqualand and Loro Park.
