The barriers force all temple cowley residents onto the congested Oxford Road, and all through traffic to the area of Bartholomew rd into Newman Road. It adds 15 minutes at least to most journeys, uses more fuel. These roads are routes, not rat runs. Many vulnerable people are more isolated as their families can't drop in on the way home.

I like the idea but I think expections should be made if you work in the area. I work near Littlemore hospital and did not knew the was happening so got stuck trying to get to littlemore to cowley centre. In the end I did not go to cowley centre and if I take my clients out I will go sommwere else. Again some resident relay on home support and taxis to get about so I am not sure what these worker will do to get about.

It is just ridiculous, people have to drive all the way around just to drop kids to school in rain. Locals have to drive the whole way around to come out of their street. LTN is increasing pollution. The main roads have got so heavy traffic just because of LTN. It is causing more frustration and road rage. It should end immediately. The LTN is a poor, impractical idea. Tax money wasted .

A taxi driver told me that people, particularly the elderly, were having to pay more due to the extra mileage in getting to their home - a £5 fare will cost around £8.

I live in kersington road and a 2 minute drive from the top of littlemore by the coop has meant that I now have to drive all the way road from a long day at work
It’s inconvenient and not necessary to but such barriers up
I have lived in this area for over ten years and never found this to be a problem

I like the idea but I think expections should be made if you work in the area.
