Poorly thought out scheme, width restrictions cause issues(Newman rd) and blocking main roads is just ludicrous.More accidents have occurred but not necessarily reported! Plan would be welcome on side streets but main road blocking is idiotic. Pollution doesn't reduce, (same amount of vehicles doing longer journeys).=increased pollution. Also increased risk in other areas. Whomever thought this was a good plan needs to review their career. And as for charging people to park outside their own home is nuts(residents parking). A stationary car, is a car not polluting (a good thing

Heavier traffic in other areas, longer journeys and more pollution! Nightmare for residents

Longer journeys, more emissions, gridlocked other roads at peak times. Cutting residents who have no choice but to drive off from shops and other amenities. Doesn't solve a problem at all!

The displaced traffic is already causing other roads to be gridlocked and more polluted. Littlemore residents were NOT consulted about this plan.

LTN barricades need to be removed now!

The LTNs are total madness, they are making traffic and congestion WORSE, like permanent roadworks everywhere in Cowley. Voted Labour all my life, disgusted that Labour Councillors support this LTN madness, will never vote Labour again.

I work for the emergency gas service and this is very worrying, no pre warning, no diversion and side roads now very busy. Access is terrible

These barriers are unfair. The traffic load is worsening. Can’t go school and office on time.

I have to use those routes everyday for my job. It’s pointless pointing people to the main road when the main road is going to be a blockage also.

I live in Salesian gardens and will now have only one route to and from my home as two will be blocked off , how does this make sense ? it extends my journey to work I use more petrol hence more pollution , I have to go the same way to get any where and so will every one else , this was not well thought through and will be a disaster ,

It takes me 30 mins extra to get home now due to these planters. That’s adding more fuel consumption and more gases in the atmosphere. Elections coming up in May. I need to seriously consider my vote.

Absolutely ridiculous, increased my journeys by an extra 10minutes and that’s if there is no traffic. I can only imagine how long it will take once we are out of lockdown

I work at the school and on top of worrying about where to park now because of the permit situation, my colleagues and I are traveling an extra 10 min or more (depending on traffic) to get to the entrance of the school OR just to enter Bartholomew road from the opposite end to find more spaces to park. Personally, it puts me off shopping at Cowley Centre too. I can no longer just “run in” after work and because of the great diversion, at the weekends I cant be bothered with the hassle.

Ridiculous, adding more pollution by making people take longer routes to get to their destinations. Making children late for school, which has a knock on effect for parents getting to work on time!

These trials are environmentally a real problem in my opinion. They are meant to reduce traffic but in actual fact mean that I now have to drive approximately two to three times the distance I previously had to travel to get to see relatives or to get to Cowley Centre. It is not always possible to cycle or walk. Newman Road and Oxford Road, Littlemore are always busy but I dread to think how busy they will be once things return to normal.

Its ridiculous I have to travel so much further just to get home what if people have emergencies and cant get through.
