Installing barriers in Littlemore and Cowley areas doesn’t really make sense. It will only cause problems for general public. Ideally some streets can be made one way, it would resolve the problem if there is any. Thanks

I’ve lived in Oxford all my life and that’s more than 60 years and never known such stupidity. Everyone should have a voice in this matter not just the residents in the areas. It’s going to cause so much danger to the Littlemore roundabout and the traffic jams too when everything opens up and we gradually go back to a normal life. What about the residents in the areas that are going to have to tolerate the added traffic now due to all these diversions. As if it wasn’t bad enough before this. The rate things are going in Oxford no one will want to live here. I’m disabled and it does not help me at all as I find it difficult to travel as it is let alone making journeys so much longer.

Principle is OK, but virtually every journey is 30 to 50 percent longer.

This is an absurd initiative in reducing Oxford's pollution and making side roads safer for 'other' road users. In reality, however, it increases traffic in already congested arterial roads thus increasing pollution. It also disconnects neighbours and local communities. Furthermore it will pose challenges for our emergency services to attend in a timely manner. The council need to do the right thing and rescind this absurd initiative as a matter of urgency

Journeys are twice as long to get home or to where I am going. Traffic has increased on other roads which will cause more pollution. God help us when we come out of lockdown. Traffic was bad enough on ringroad, it will only get worse.

It's not the right way to go about improving traffic flow. It simply moves the problem to other local roads. I affects local businesses and increases pollution due to having to travel longer distances within the locality.

Absolute waste of time, money and resources.
Extra time added on most journeys leading to more pollution, accidents and road rage.
It has caused so much problems,
Remove all barriers.
