End traffic barriers in Littlemore and Cowley

Major inconvenience and a danger preventing emergency services access

This is a very bad decision. All the traffic has now come to the main oxford road and surrounding main roads . Such long delays and also with these bollards going up, less route for emergency services. I don’t understand why this decision has been made. Taxi fares will also go up as a longer route will need to be taken. Take these out and let things go back to how they were!

Since these were installed in Mayfair Rd I have faced extra journey times of 30 mins on a 15 min journey, the extra traffic forced onto the main Rosehill Rd and the Cowley Centre Rd is intolerable and the lockdown is still in force, when that finishes it will be utter chaos , these need taking out now.

My 5 min trip to my local Sainsbury’s now takes me double the time! Which means I’m creating even more pollution!

Remove cowley LTNs

Absolutely stupid, causes more traffic on already busy routes. Not the solution, back to the drawing board!!!

Littlemore Road is the main road from Littlemore into Cowley Centre and it’s been closed, so now all cars are forced to go down Rose Hill and Henley Avenue which has cause so much traffic in these areas. (Which is not fair for the people living there) a 5 minute journey now takes me 20 minutes. Also we pay road tax to drive on the road.

I would like those barriers to be removed from cowley area, it’s completely disaster at the moment. Thank you

I'm disgusted at the LTN road closures. As a retired elderly widow living on my own, I am heavily reliant on family and carers visiting me - they have to visit me by car as they come from some distance - this is making it really difficult for them. The LTN road closures are intolerable and must be removed.

I do not understand the logic behind delaying journeys and causing more traffic

This scheme is ridiculous it now means when I want to visit my family I need to drive onto the eastern bypass around the roundabout at Tesco and back up again instead of just driving down Bartholomew road and barns road

Stop closing roads

These county councillors are not living in this area they live in villages they don't know what local public want

that is really ridiculous picked up a old lady as a taxi driver she got shopping to carry she supposed to go Westbury crescent 32 feel sorry for 70 years old lady in this really bad weather when winds are on real peak and big bins are flying about because of heavy winds i dropped that poor soul on top of hill where is so called helping pedestrian and helping people as a human i carry her shopping with her to the door for humanity sake i don't suppose to i m not getting paid penny extra but she hardly manage to walk let alone carrying shopping bags thus is really ridiculous idea because prestige town like Oxford where so many old age people leaving alone no one to help them their day to day life council is really cold heart and selfish to do such a thing and make more troubled for these poor souls.

Absolutely hate the new LTN down my road. If i have a medical emergency will make it more difficult to get to docs or hospital when time is crucial. THEY NEED TO GO

STOP all Ltn in the local area absolutely ruined routes around the local area.
