Roads are built for cars and other road users not for LTNS. Please remove the obstructions as we don’t pay road tax and contribute in the society for LTNS !

Please remove the barriers! We are burning more fuel in order to get one place to another, they are not environment friendly at all!

Read the room and know this isn’t the place for your comment. There are genuine concerns and sadly someone passed away a couple of days ago waiting on an ambulance which stopped coming up Crowell Road as they couldn’t go forward a few meters due to wooden planters onto Littlemore Road.
Would the outcome for the patient have been different if the ambulance didn’t have to turn around and find an alternative route?
Like you say, you don’t live in Oxford let alone the area so maybe you should think twice about commenting.
We are all concerned about the future however as residents, right now our present is being massively disrupted and we request other alternative solutions. Simple!

I don't even live in Oxford, but I oppose this on principle. LTNs are not the future- more cars are, and bigger cars too please. Oxford has plenty of space that could accommodate more cars to ease congestion - e.g. the path along the river, Christchurch Meadows, Shotover, etc. Oxford should keep on expanding its population, allow more cars into Oxford and aim for total gridlock and perma-smog in 10 years time. Oxford would then be a great place to live in. Who cares about the future if I have to add five minutes to my car journey if I ever come to Oxford and quickly need to speed between the Cowley and Iffley roads?

There is a serious problem with pedestrian safety but this is not the way to manage it - the barriers on little hay road have simply pushed the traffic issues onto smaller, more residential, side streets less able to cope with the density of traffic and where children really do play on the roads - as oppose to Little Hay ? Cornwallis road which was clearly constructed to take high density traffic - where the properties are set well back from the road and protected by front gardens and on which children do NOT play.

Blocking free access to these location has nonthing to do in terms of ecology,
Only reducing number of buses and its size can improve quality of Oxford air. Also buses and lorries produce much more noise than our Royal Cars which mostly are hybrid cars.
